Gloria and Rafael are the best hosts we encountered anywhere in the world. As far as we know, Rafael has two passions: 1. the night sky (and sharing his great knowledge of it with you, if you’re interested), and 2. ensuring you enjoy your time in the valley and at the casa. If you let them, they’ll make you feel a part of their own family. And besides that, the views are beautiful too. Especially at night. It’s an awesome place if you love nature and want some time to relax. Please be kind to Gloria & Rafael, and I’m 100% sure they will return that kindness a thousand fold!

the woman who greeted us and looked after us the whole trip was SO lovely despite a language barrier, did everything she could to help us! room was really big kitchen and living shared area was clean outside space was incredible, beautifully up-kept dogs were an added bonus! loved it

We had a wonderful stay. The place is decorated with taste, very comfortable and absolutely clean. It is situated in the center of the Valle de Elqui in a very nice village. The breakfast was delicious and we had access to the kitchen, which was very convenient since we were there with kids. Finally, Claudia (the owner) has simply been the most attentive and kind host that I have ever met and she has given us many pieces of advice on what to do.

Kitchen was nice as well as common spaces to hang out. Screens on the window were nice to keep out mosquitoes!

The entire place was very clean and looked like new. The dorm room for 6 was lovely and had good storage lockers. The outdoor kitchen was beautiful and decently equipped and I enjoyed using the pool in the afternoons when the sun was over it. I was only guest there at the time so had the entire place to myself and it was beautiful. Eggs, bread and juice in the fridge was a really nice touch too! Pisco Elqui is a small place so location wise it was good as everything is within walking distance including the bus stop.

The rooms were new and comfortable. Nice outdoor areas. Well equipped communal kitchen and breakfast area facilitated meeting other guests. The host was very proactive in communication. The location was great, very central, close to everything.

Lovely place in the sweet town vicuña. We stayed four days. It is close to the main plaza and all the restaurants. The apartment is perfect for two people. It is very spacious and has a neat interior. We enjoyed it a lot!
