Big room, lots of places to put things, own bathroom, quiet place with a beautiful garden (saw many cool animals), good kitchen, close to all the restaurants, supermarkets and to the beach, they picked me up from the boat. Very good service, thank you :)

Great bungalow on the hill, with incredible view over the jungle and Drake bay. Very helpful owners help organising the daily tours, breakfast is available. 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and the town, depending if down or up the hill :)

Highly recommend stay at Villa Manolo Ocean and Forest View Hotel , the hotel is run by a delightful really hardworking local family , who all provide exceptional guest/customer service and genuinely care about each guest experience. We stayed in the King Room, very spacious, super clean, everything worked (super cool aircon/fridge, large shower & comfy bed) and outside sitting area/view from the balcony amazing! Evening meals were exceptional (especially the fresh fish/tuna selections) Mrs. Manolo is a wonderful talented chef!! Leading up to our stay I needed assistance on arranging tours, boat trips, taxi etc., communication with Adonis was excellent, everything was taken care of, super-efficiently making our tip and stay at Villa Manolo the highlight of our Costa Rica holiday, as the Villa Manolo Family really made our stay extra special – A big thank you again to you all!! Traveler’s Tip: For ease of travel to Drake Bay, yes people drive but as the road conditions rather challenging, for ease and less stress suggest leave the hire car at Sierpe (there is secure paid parking) and arrange the boat trip 😊 (we were lucky our boat went through the mangroves, so an added bonus!)

The drive toward Drake Bay is a challenging one and you need 4x4 because of road conditions. We had an SUV and our return was difficult. The cabin is 15 minutes from Drake Bay and easy to reach from there. They booked our tour to Corcovado and Carlos lead the way to the departure point on his motorbike. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit. Carlos and his wife are great hosts. He prepared a suptuous dinner for us, he took us on a hike to waterfalls (real somewhat challenging forest hike, not like Corcovado tour, way better), we swam at the falls. We suggested that a fridge and clothesline would be good additions, and the next day we had both. We had access to a well equipped kitchen. The cabin is new, super clean, simple and on beautiful grounds you can enjoy from your balcony. We truly enjoyed our stay and the special attention given by all.

The house is located in a very peacefull environment few minutes walking from everything. There are only 3 rooms available so the place is always quiet, the kitchen is fully equipped and extremely clean as the rest of the house. The terrace outside is perfect to relax after a tiring day and to have dinner. You can chose your breakfast between a couple of options, the traditional one with gallo pinto is fullfilling and delicious! We had a beautiful time here and i highly recommend this place. Muchas gracias Norma!

Sabrina and Edu were fantastic hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay a success. We loved our little house. The food was the best we had in Costa Rica, it was fresh, delicious and varied. There were interesting trails around the property and we had great fun in the rowing boat. We thought Encanto Lodge was a very special place and would have liked to stay longer. Pura Vida in Osa.

Javier and his girlfriend are really nice and the room was cozy. Everything is nicely decorated and it's possible to use the kitchen and common areas even in heavy rain! Everything is clean, great breakfast, walking distance everywhere. We definitely recommend staying here! You can also book different tours with Javier.

We had a wonderful time at Posada Don Juan. Initially we planned to stay two nights but we decided to stay one more night, and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The owners were incredibly nice, personable, helpful and patient. The place is clean and you can use the kitchen. There is no AC but they have this cooling fan that does the trick to get you through the heat at night. If we come back to Bahía Drake we will stay at Posada Don Juan again for sure. Many thanks to you Dona Maria Dionisia, Don Felix, Don Gato and of course Don Canelo, it was a real pleasure to meet you all. Muchas gracias por todo, ¡fue fantástico!
