The hotel is well placed in the city. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. During the morning as we where eating breakfast, it was cold and I asked if they could start this heater to warm us and they did. Breakfast was delicious and the room was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Family and friendly hotel, the small spaces make me feel like family. The treatment of the staff is the best of all. Good full breakfast, and a restaurant with Andean food, unique in the sector. Cleanliness is magnificent. Our room with Jacuzzi was ready, with hot water, soaps, towels and other amenities. We received tourist information about Quito, thanks to Ivonne who helped us organize our trip and sent us taxis. I will return to Chakana Hotel Mariscal soon.

David and Ricardo were the most amazing hosts ever. They were really accommodating, gave me suggestions to visit and managed my day tours. They are kind and knowledgeable. The hotel is cozy, beautifully decorated and dinners are a must. Breakfasts were really good as well and Otto was the cherry on top.

The owners were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We felt at home during our entire stay. The breakfast is handmade, delicious and different every morning. The rooms are clean and spacious and get cleaned every day. The hotel is sociable and the city center is quite close (10-15 mins walk). If I were going back to Quito I would definitely stay here again

This property was a stunning location to have as a base for my partner and I to explore Quito! It is so central and only a short fifteen minute drive to the main historic centre. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within a two minute walk that will cater to anyone’s food interests. The property itself was luxury to say the least and it felt as though we were staying in a presidential suite! The owners are a lovely couple and were so hospitable to us, welcoming us into the home with open arms as soon as we arrived. They did not hesitate to help us with our queries on what to do and gave us excellent recommendations that turned out to be immensely beneficial to the activities we took part in. Our bedroom was comfortable and they always gave us our own space wherever we were in the house. The views of the surrounding mountains and city were breathtaking also and it was delightful to sit and look out while we planned what we were going to do each day. 10/10 would recommend this stay to anyone. If I ever return I will refuse to stay anywhere else other than the Penthouse Lodge B & B!

    We booked at the last minute and have ended up staying three nights. It's in a great location, more of a 'night' area but we are in by 7pm and it's fine. We have a little balcony which we sit on in the sun, the staff are awesome and it is really quiet (though it's not the weekend). Eddie is the best!

    Great location in the heart of the old town. It’s super quiet and the hotel doesn’t let other guests stay in the central courtyard after around 9pm/10pm. The hotel is extremely charming. The rooms are pretty basic but do the job for one or two nights stay. They have a restaurant down stairs which was handy when other places were closed in the evening in the area. The staff were super helpful and got some washing done for us overnight. Overall excellent value for money.
