An amazing farm stay with lovely surroundings and sweet animals. Lucie and Rahno were very welcoming and helpful and even offered one of their very sweet dogs to us to walk with on our hike! Breakfast was lovely and made from local organic produce. We had a lovely and relaxing time there. :)

We have been coming to this part of the Dordogne (Perigord Noir) for over 20 years and know the area quite well but we were still completely blown away by this magnificent location. The beautiful chateau is located in it’s own little valley and feels completely secluded from the rest of the world. As you look into the distance form the terrace there is literally nothing to see but nature: no buildings, no lights, no people, just a lovely pond, trees and hills. All you hear is the sound of forest animals. Added to that are the most welcoming and hospitable hosts we have ever come across. Because of our wedding anniversary they decided to upgrade us to the best room available, the breakfast was incredible and both Richard and (especially) Christine went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Check my earlier reports: I never give a 10. I wholeheartedly did this time. Highly, highly recommended.

    Highly recommendable! There was a professional kitchen, the restaurant os bigger then the hotel. I had not the time to eat there but it must be good. The room was big, clean, comfortable and after I unplugged the TV, I loved it the room was pitch dark!! Above all the location was beautifull and above all super quiet. Excellent place for a frequent traveler like myself.
