We arrived at this wonderful old renovated French villa after a long day of very warm cycling (yet another one 🥵) and found a welcoming host and, very importantly, a refreshing pool that was utilised within a few minutes. Rooms are beautifully restored and very comfortable. The morning breakfast was a meal fit for the king or queen of the manor, a great way to start the day! Our host also helped as much as he could with tools and a compressor when a tyre on one of our bikes decided to have a blowout. If you’re in the area, highly recommend.

The breakfast was a good, typical French breakfast. The location was very quiet and had amazing views. The hosts were excellent. Our room was attractive and comfortable and we slept well. I cannot give a full evaluation of the pool because we didn’t use it but it looked fine. Dinner is not available but the hosts booked us a table at a nearby restaurant (very short drive) which was very pleasant.

We loved this property and the hosts Simon & Cheryl. It felt like pure luxury after a week at a Eurocamp lol. My 7 year old said the best part of his whole holiday in France was ‘the bed in the gite!’ Loved the chickens, the pool, the badminton net, the décor and the beautiful walk to the water tower which was full of sunflowers, deer, grape vines and acorns like some French Enid Blyton story book :)

Manoir was amazing, spotlessly clean, quiet, bed was so comfy, everything you needed was provided plus more. Hosts Patrick and Corine were lovely, discreet but attentive. Breakfast was exceptional, beautifully laid out overlooking fields, fresh croissants, pancakes, fruit, baguettes, coffee, amazing. Pool was lovely and facilities around them wonderful (sofas, table, parasol etc). Only 11 minutes drive into centre of Bergerac.

    This is perhaps one of the most beautiful & loved facilities we have ever stayed at. Patrice exudes pride of ownership is every detail he has created both inside & out. The grounds are stunning & boast a wonderful swimming pool, flowers & garden galore & numerous quiet spots where one could curl up with a book in a cozy chair. Breakfast is a tasty & hearty venture. Coffee is amazing!

    Comfortable, well appointed, homely room, with adjoining sitting room. Layout of property afforded good privacy for guests, within quiet surroundings and good parking. Excellent breakfast with good variety. Patrick was a very welcoming host.

    A beautiful property with a wonderful and charming g host. Patrick goes out of his way to ensure that his guests feel at home and the vibe is extremely relaxed and welcoming. The breakfast is superb with various homemade items. The rooms are lovely and the beds so very comfortable. Patrick has thought of everything to ensure that his guests have a relaxed stay, I only wish we could stay longer.

    the location was fabulous, the hosts were delightful, funny, charming and thoughtful . the garden was idyllic and peaceful and it was almost impossible to tear oneself away from the immaculate swimming pool. do not miss breakfast it is delicious. Within east reach of many interesting villages and towns - we will definitely return.
