Absolutely the best hosts we have come across. Very clean and good value for money. Lovely thick towels and facecloths. They cooked us a really lovely meal as most places were closed in Ruffec.

Sheila is an amazing host, friendly and kind. The location was great for us as we were coming from Spain and wanted to stop in France before we got the ferry from Roscoff the next day.. The apartment is beautiful amalgamating the old with the new. Had a comfortable bed and a great shower. A quiet location set in a pretty historical town. Great price over all a very good experience. We will return. Thank you.

A beautiful old property, full of character, currently being renovated to a high spec, by the owners Dawn and Chris. A real gem in the heart of rural France. Dawn and Chris were so welcoming and friendly & could not have been more helpful. We met ‘the boys’ on arrival too - the owner’s alpacas - which make this property unique. Our breakfast the following day - after a wonderful night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed - was amazing. It was delivered to the bedroom in a wicker picnic basket by Chris. We enjoyed real tea, orange juice, overnight oats, cereals, croissants, pain au chocolate and fresh fruit. A veritable feast. We would love to return in the future and can’t thank Dawn and Chris enough for their hospitality.

Great stay with Phil and Graeme, in lovely village of Tusson. The b&b is very comfortable, clean and gives access to fully equipped kitchen and garden. The hosts are adorable, willing to meet new people and make them feel at ease. We had 2hours waiting for our pizza so Graeme offered us some snacks and guided through the village - thanks again! They also have 2 nice dogs - I am afraid of dogs usually but it wasn’t problematic during the stay, the dogs are used to guests. Definitively a place to recommend, we will come back!

We stayed here on sunday evening when most restaurants are closed in town but Colin and Shane suprised us by serving us a very nice dinner in their lovely garden. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and they have a lot of humor. Breakfast is delicious, with fresh fruits, ham and cheese, croissant and toast etc. Parking is convenient and free of charge.

I had a wonderful 4-night stay at this charming guest house. The setting is peaceful, the pool area is lovely, and the breakfasts were a real highlight – especially Laetitia’s homemade blueberry muffins! The hosts were warm and welcoming, even inviting me to join their family for dinner, which made the experience feel very personal and special. Despite the language barrier, we managed great conversations with the help of Google Translate, and I truly felt at home. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy authentic French hospitality. Highly recommended!

The owners were so wonderful and took great care of us all, including my disabled father who they were very patient and considerate of. The breakfast was wonderful each morning and the pool is such a welcome relief from the heat in the middle of summer!
