Porridge was available, great, couldn't find marmalade. Lots of choice, could hot food be covered as it got cold quickly and we were early. Room lovely, beds comfy., clean, hot water, no complaints. Staff efficient and friendly. Location fine for coast visits. We love Northumberland so are biased but would visit the hotel again and recommend it to others.

Beautiful room, bed really comfortable as was the bedding and pillows. The breakfast was one of the best on our 5 week UK holiday and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The house was spotless and we were greeted upon arrival by Steve who kindly took our bags into the house and upstairs. The bed in the penthouse room was very comfortable and the room was immaculate with all sorts of tea and coffee available.

The location was excellent -- charming village -- lovely for walking on the beach -- excellent breakfast -- room both comfortable and elegant -- and the owner, Harvey, couldn't have been more gracious or helpful. His place has my highest recommendation.

Friendly welcome to a beautiful property. Lovely room with lots of little touches to make you comfortable. I did not need breakfast but enjoyed the tea/coffee and biscuits provided with free top ups available. No single use plastic and lots of efforts to make the property sustainable which was really appreciated.
