The Star Hotel is THE friendliest accommodation I've ever stayed in. They couldn't do enough for me, and the biggest bonus was a disco the first night, then, on the second night, a live band. Best place ever. All the staff super friendly and helpful, plus all the patrons made this Southener very welcome indeed. The room was exceptionally clean, and I honestly couldn't fault it at all. Parking was great too.

Great location with wonderful hosts and a beautiful place to stay. When we are next in the area it will be our first choice for somewhere to stay.

Very warm welcome: all staff were very attentive. Great room, with good facilities. Very clean. Food in the bar was excellent, best chips ever!
