I would describe Morlea as the perfect B&B. very professionally run but with Julie and Chris you have friendly and helpful owners. accomodation was outstanding, location perfect and to be greeted with freshly baked lemon drizzle cake (with recipe provided), this made for a perfect three days in this beautiful village on Loch Ness.

The bed was really excellent and the bedding was high quality. The 2 burner gas hob was great for light cooking, instructions were well explained for the amenities. We loved that we felt like we were in the trees, but in comfort.

The big Victorian house with the three sequoias in the garden was stunning, the room was very big with a super comfortable king-size bed. The host was super nice and provided us with a lot of information and tips, including an amazing place nearby where to eat dinner. It was a lovely stay.

We arrived at a country house surrounded by nature. We got a large and spacious room in the house of two lovely hostesses who welcomed us with a smile. At breakfast we were treated to a huge pancake with great fruit, hot toasts and a hot drink. We recommend and for sure we will return

Our stay at Craik Na Dav B&B in Invermoriston was unforgettable. Lindsey and Manda were so welcoming, and the animals around the house – the dogs, birds, and even a legendary deer – added so much charm. One highlight was the porridge. I was not too fond of porridge before this visit, but theirs was absolutely to die for – creamy, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful. They generously shared tips on making it the best, but to truly experience it, you have to visit them yourself. ;) The facilities were excellent, and the thoughtful touches, like a whiskey dram for my partner’s sore throat, made us feel genuinely cared for. Lindsey and Manda also gave invaluable advice for our hike to Fort Augustus along the high route of the Great Glen Way. A heartwarming stay we’ll always remember!"

We had a two-day trip with two adult children to Inverness and Fort Augustus. A night in this beautiful house was not only a necessity, but also a great pleasure. The hostess is open, friendly and very hospitable. Stanley and Daisy (two incredible dogs) are the highlights of our stay. The mattresses are wonderful, bed linen, pillows - everything is fresh and very comfortable. Bathrooms, dining room, towels, a small library, everything you need for relaxation is in this beautiful house. In the evening after checking in, we went for a walk in the evening Inverness - it is close and convenient. Thank you Tara and your whole family. If we are in your area, we will definitely come back.
