What a fantastic location and property. Attentive and friendly host who made us feel very welcome. Beautiful characterful property. Lovely room with super comfortable super king bed. Quiet and peaceful. Close to pubs, canal, walks, aquaduct etc. Oodles of easy onsite parking.

We had a wonderful stay! The owner gave us a warm welcome and many useful suggestions. The room was amazing, large, super clean and with a superb view! Great shower. Really good and tasty breakfast. The location was perfect to visit the main sites. Would stay again!

The cowshed is in a stunning location up on the hill just outside of Llangollen. The road up the street is a little rocky so if like us you had a hire car you may want to go very slow. The room itself surpassed expectations it was beautiful! The bed was comfy, there were lovely chairs to lounge in and read and the terrace had a little table and chairs if you wanted to sit outside or have breakfast out there. The owner, was so friendly offering recommendations for food and they brought breakfast (croissants, toast, fruit, yoghurt and orange juice) which was an unexpected bonus. For me the highlight was the bath, it is a delight and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. If I were back in the area I would stay here again without hesitation.

I loved the friendliness of all the staff, from the first welcome as we booked in to our checking out. Everyone was upbeat, friendly and helpful. The riverside location was wonderful. The breakfast was first class. I’ll have to come back to try the other breakfast options!

Everything was fantastic! Room is very clean and comfortable like at home. Breakfast was excellent loved it ! Deb was very helpful and friendly, how also she spare her time and research into for my future adventure. Definitely will return one day and recommend for everyone!

Could not have been better. All the staff were great - in particular Denise, Hannah and Vicky in the kitchen. Also evening staff welcomed us and made us comfortable. Lovely bar atmosphere. Breakfast was grear. And everyone were lovely with our dog!

Excellent service, comfy beds and tasty breakfast. Nice and tidy room with a garden view and bathroom. Private parking spot at the back of the house. Dave is a very warm and helpful host. Everything was very good!
