We felt at home immediately. Clean towels, sheets, home was clean. Abundance of teas, hot chocolate and coffee for everyone's taste. Tissues next to the bed so important for me. The beautiful area, garden and exquisite hanging baskets made it very welcome. Can highly recommend it.

Our room and the entrance area, stairs etc were all completely brand new - a beautifully done renovation in this old building. The room was huge, well heated and facilities were excellent. Nice big bed, good shower plus tea/coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. We couldn't have been happier (even got the TV going without too much struggle). Lovely staff in the bar, and a great meal there in the evening.
