We were here to help our son move from Oxford/Cumnor and have stayed at the Bear & Ragged Staff many times, and will come back even if our son is no longer in the area. Cumnor is a charming village and you get both the Cotswolds and Oxford at the same time. The Bear & the Ragged Staff has a lot of local charm while still serving fantastic food and the staff is not ragged at all (pun intended).

We spent 5 days at the Thames Edge Rooms in June. The room is very cozy and stylishly furnished. We occasionally used the gazebo in the garden for breakfast or for a glass of wine in the evening. You can enjoy the peace and quiet on the sun loungers on the banks of the Thames. We found Tim and Anni to be very friendly and helpful hosts. This location is particularly suitable for fans of the Midsomer Murders (Inspector Barnaby) and Agatha Christie. We really enjoyed our time there.

Situated in Swindon, 7 km from Coate Water Country Park, Helen Browning's Royal Oak is a pet-friendly, dining pub with rooms and boasts a children's playground and terrace.

Very good facilities and very friendly staff! Ideal location close to Swindon but in the countryside. Excellent pub food.

This is a cute farmyard and barn that has been renovated into ready nice apartment. The bed and bath are in the loft. Open concept with a nice view. Really cute I would stay here again.

Just beside the River Thames, The Trout at Tadpole Bridge enjoys an idyllic location between Oxford and the Cotswolds.
