Had a really great stay here. Kevin the owner is a great bloke and an excellent host. Nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money and the best hot breakfast I've ever had. Short walk to cathedral and city centre. Highly recommend.

Nice touches such as availability of gluten free cereal and bread plus alcohol free beer and wine. Set in a charming, historic village.

We had a wonderful experience at The White Hart — an absolutely lovely and pastoral place, with a high standard of hospitality. Both the accommodation and the food were excellent, everything felt so genuinely and delightfully English — in the best possible way. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, the surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, and there’s a certain gentle breeze in the air that makes it all even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for us, very quiet and peaceful but only a short drive to all the places we wanted to visit. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was perfect as we could just help ourselves to what we wanted. The host, Laura was very friendly without being intrusive and made us feel very welcome and at home.
