The views from this hotel are exceptional absolutely amazing. Right across from the volcano with a pool at the front. The bedroom was clean and spacious and the bathroom was quite nice. The food was fairly good and the price wasn’t bad.

An hidden oasis! This was one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had during the past 6 months of travelling. The room was clean and comfy and property well maintained by lovely Ketut. It’s pretty isolated so you’ll need to hire a bike, but you can do that through the accomodation. Fleur made us the most delicious food too! Breakfast wraps, sticky pork belly, and chicken noodle soup. Fleur really looked after us and helped with solve any issues we had. The whole experience was so lovely and we can’t wait to come back one day.

We stayed here for one night before our Mt. Batur jeep tour, and it was a fantastic choice. Highlights: • 🌄 Location: Only 5 minutes from Mt. Batur, perfect for tours. • 🏞️ Views: Truly stunning, unobstructed panorama of both Mt. Batur and Lake Batur. • 💰 Value: Very reasonably priced, excellent for what you get. • 🤝 Host: Warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. He greeted us personally and was always happy to help—his positive energy made the stay memorable. Overall: Highly recommend staying here for one or two nights if you’re exploring Mt. Batur and its lake. A hidden gem that combines unbeatable views with heartfelt hospitality.

If you are looking for an affordable little paradise, you have it at the moon cabins 😇 The place is new and amazing. You have so much space in your little private house, it looks great and cosy, and the view is breathtaking. Budu and his wife and his brother were the most attentive and generous guests. The property is beautiful and clean with good wifi and a hot shower. It’s the closest property to Mount Batur and only 10 minutes walking to the meeting point. 100% recommend we LOVED staying here! Nyoman the owner was really nice and welcoming and insisted on making us a really nice breakfast. He has also been a tour guide for 10 years and knows the volcano so book your tours with him!

This place is amazing, so serene and truly beautiful. The views of Mount Batur from here are unreal. All the staff are so kind and welcoming, you really do feel like part of a little family here. They’re super helpful with organising tours, including sunrise trips up the mountain with really lovely guides. You can choose to go by Jeep or hike up whichever suits you. We did a mix of both as we didn't want to hike all the way. They provided transport to go to a local coffee plantation and the natural hot springs. They even helped us with transport back to Ubud. The food is also delicious, and they’re happy to help with just about anything, always so quick and willing to make sure you’re looked after. The rooms are really clean and comfy. I’d definitely recommend staying here, and I’d 100% come back the next time I’m in the area. Thank you Baan, Edi and everyone! See you next time ❤️

    The property is at a beautiful location. You have the perfect view and it’s quite far from the main road which makes it a really quiet place. Still, it is not too far of a walk or scooter ride to get to the seaside. The staff is very nice and helps you with all your questions. The breakfast is delicious! The homemade jam is the best! We would definitely come back.
