I was pleasantly shocked by the number of breakfast options including 5 different types of truly fresh and flavorful fruit. Multiple granola and cereal choices, as well as, muffins and croissants, teas and coffee. Additionally, the staff was incredibly helpful and kindly accommodating with checking in and checking times. Highly recommend!!

A beautiful and energising place, run by wonderful people. Great rooms and breakfast, and an unbeatable view to Maghera Beach and beyond. But most of all a warm atmosphere and a feeling of home. I wish I could have stayed much longer. I will be back asap.

We booked three double bedrooms, which were all very nice, comfortable and clean. Toiletries were also provided. Breakfast was delicious. Helen and her husband are lovely people, responsive at the chat and helpful with recommendations for our stay in Ardare and visit to the county.

Location was amazing, 10 minute walk to town through a lively country road, the grounds were perfect with a view of the mountains. We booked the double twin rooms two huge double beds and a balcony on to beautiful garden surrounded by a woodland walk. Staff were very friendly, great vibes, everything and everyone was super relaxed, they absolutely nailed it!!! Hotels like this are few and far between, irish hospitality exemplified, never change!! Lastly the breakfast, finally a breakfast cooked to order with soft eggs, 10/10...definitely coming back and bringing more people next time. Not to be missed

Location, b&b was in the middle of our exploring of County Donegal. Breakfast had been fulfilling and delicious, fueling us for the adventures ahead. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely beautiful and comfortable B&B! It exceeded our expectations. The host was so kind and responsive. The location was perfect for us, as we were hiking Slieve League the following morning. Close drive into town. Breakfast was exceptional, and they even had a great vegetarian option. We will absolutely return next time we're in Ireland!

We stayed at Puffin Lodge two times during our journey through Ireland. We re-booked the same room on our way back as we really loved the place and the hospitality of the hosts. Our room was so spacy, clean and comfy. Tina is such a lovely person. She left fresh milk in front of our room each morning and helped us with any question and request we had. The view to the garden and the beach is stunning. A private path in the garden leads directly to the beach! We really enjoyed our stay at Puffin Lodge, had great day trips and felt very comfortably when coming back “home” to our room.
