The quiet of the place, right next to the lake. The room and house were impeccable, but the best aspect of our stay was without a doubt our hosts, a very nice family that welcomed us with exceptional attention from the start and with whom we shared a great breakfast and an interesting conversation. Amazing from start to finish. Hot tea and cake by the fire upon check-in, a palatial bedroom, a wonderful Irish breakfast, and Declan was kind enough to show us around the farm and introduce us to their brood of pigs. I wish we could have stayed longer !
