We happened to stumble upon Il Fienile completely by chance and were absolutely thrilled from the very first moment we arrived. A true gem, located near the Po River in Reggio Emilia. Patricia, her charming three daughters, and her husband Vido are the most wonderful hosts one could imagine. We haven’t stayed in such an amazing B&B in a very long time. It was absolutely wonderful. Laura and Massimo are the kindest hosts of a truly beautiful Tuscan home. I was the only guest, and I felt not just at home — but like I was living in a dream. Every detail was carefully and lovingly thought out. And the breakfast… completely blew me away. Served in an elegant living room with soft background music, Laura prepared a meal that felt like it belonged in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Massimo brought the most delicious cappuccino. I truly felt like royalty. When I was leaving, Laura refused to accept a tip. Her words — “I do this from heart to heart” — moved me to tears. I myself have been hosting guests for many years, and I know how it usually goes. But here, for the first time, I experienced something deeply touching, something truly human. This was more than hospitality — it was a genuine opening of the heart. I’m endlessly grateful to Laura for this experience. It was the perfect stay! The hostess Georgia gave us a warm welcome and good advices for our stay. The room and all facilities were excellent, a medieval house with a very good taste of all interior. The breakfast buffet was superior. We give our best recommendations!
