A little piece of paradise We initially stayed here for two nights, but ended up staying another night because we liked it so much. Riccardo and Kasia are extremely nice and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed the pool, the tranquility and our daughters were very happy with the trampoline and all the other toys. The breakfast was delicious with Kasia's homemade cake and fresh products from their vegetable garden. We received great tips for places to eat and things to do. We visited Ferrara for a day and went to Verona for a day. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms are brand new and our room was very comfortable with a large bath room

The villa is very beautiful, our suite was very cozy, nicely decorated, equiped with all gadgets that could be neccessary (e.g coffee machine, tea maker, hairdryer, mini fridge in the closet, a lot of towels etc). There is also terrase from the room, which is really nice and useful for smokers. The host, Anna Maria was really lovely, always smiling with divine energy. She makes amazing cakes for breakfeast. Also, all food that was served to us was fresh, organic and bought from locals. Very tasty! Anna Maria prepaired everything by herself. She is really great host. They also have dogs, so fury friends could be seen outside while you are there. Anna Maria knows a lot of local gems, she recomended amazing local producer of acceto balsamico, parmigiano reggiano, freshly made pasta that we bought and took with us, fresh salami etc. We will definitely return to Villa dei Calchi next timw we visit Italy.
