I'm so glad we snagged a room months before our trip! Directly in front of the guesthouse is Mt. Fuji. The location is so peaceful, the complete opposite of the busy cities we've visited like Tokyo. The guesthouse felt like home, especially as the kitchen was so equipped and with so many tokens from previous guests. We appreciated the stack of tourist guides on the dining room table as it felt like we had our own tourist info center there! The owner, Daizen, was kind enough to help us dry our items in the living room post-accident. He was responsive to inquiries. The room was warm and comfy, and had a small machine we can use to warm up our beds.

Bedroom big, the capsule is actually a room itself - one of the best Hostel I ever stayed, nice location, nice bar downstairs, all very new. The staff very warm, very polite, let us drink our stuffs while we ate the food sold in the bar. Huge locker, hairdryer is good, there is a small fridge between the rooms - very convenient.

Situated in Hakone, a 2-hour train ride from Tokyo, Hakone Guest House gaku. features free WiFi access throughout the entire property.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is right by Gora Station so was easy to get to and from places. Loved the communal games room downstairs and upstairs.

Jemsty Inn Hakone Ashinoko is situated right in front of the Hakonemachi Kou Bus Terminal, and only a 2-minute stroll from the Hakone Pirate Ship boarding pier.

The host was absolutely amazing! He was there to answer my questions, to give me tips and his English was good. The place was kept clean and I especially appreciated the coffee and the tea that was included. The room itself was spacious and I had all the amenities I needed. Also, the location was perfect! It was close to the lake, right next to a convenience store and close to bike rentals and the bus stop that goes around Lake Yamanako and towards Lake Kawaguchi. The area was very peaceful (I was there during May), a perfect place to wind down after experiencing the bustling cities like Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka.
