Breakfast was amazing. Everything was fresh with only selected organic and regional products. Hansa was an amazing Host, very easy to communicate and good vibes. You can easily get lost in a long conversation with him at sunset. He is an amazing cook. He learned everything from his wife and it was hands down the best food we had the whole trip and we had pretty amazing food overall. Let him cook you his vegetarian rice & Curry trust me!

We completely enjoyed our stay at blue Sky Hotel Yala. The Manager was extremely kind and fullfilled all kind of wishes. So, he arranged a perfect fullday Safari to Yala for us. His Brother is a really good wildlife Ranger and not only made us see leopards, elefants and many more but also managed that we often could enjoy the animals for ourself because he knew a lot of beautiful secret spots. Also, the Manager easily arranged a transfer to our next Stop. We definetaly recommend everybody to stay at Blue Sky Hotel!

The little bungalow is really cute, with a little jungle patio to relax on. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is really nice. Amazing for the price! The staff are very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Location in jungle few km outside Kataragama, Beautiful Romantic Naturel Clay House quiet place - very clean big room, nice fancy bathroom separate also clean and nice design. They've made everything for nature products wich is wonderfull. The Lady Host gives very good service hospitality she is kind friendly helpfull. Lasanthe (husband) has tuktuk and drive you in very friendly way. I like to come again and reccommend high on the list. From Lady I got some tea and fruits

Location was good if you want to be a little outside of the town, quiet with animals and farmers around. The room was nice for the price. Bring your own blanket if you come here though, it was none. Staff and food was great.

Our three-night stay at Mailagama Cinnamon Residence was a delightful and perfectly situated experience for exploring Yala National Park. Raj, the manager, truly made our visit special. He was incredibly helpful, arranging two full-day safaris with an excellent driver and comfortable 4x4 jeep, and even gave us a fascinating tour of the property's cinnamon plantation. The residence's proximity to a quieter entrance of Yala's Block 1, just 30 minutes away, was a significant advantage. Each morning, they thoughtfully prepared delicious and plentiful breakfast and lunch packs, ensuring we were well-fed for our early safari starts. Our top-floor room was spacious, comfortable, and offered stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. With amenities like air conditioning and a TV, it was a relaxing haven after a day of wildlife spotting. Dinners were Sri Lankan food like string hoppers and kottu roti. We highly recommend Mailagama Cinnamon Residence for its outstanding hospitality and ideal location for a Yala safari.

Amazing experience at Lake Front Yala Safari. The room was extremely comfortable and very clean but the best thing was the family that run this guesthouse, very kind and welcoming. The lady cooked a spectacular dinner, the best I have had since I'm in Sri Lanka, the daughter is a very smart girl who speaks very good English, she explained to me about the Sri Lankan culture and traditions of Kataragama. Last but not least I could book the safari through them at a very affordable price. I recommend this place 100%

Lovely little property with a wonderful owner who was always on hand to make sure everything was ok. The outside inside bathroom was a highlight. The food she cooked was excellent and lots of it! They also organised everything for our full safari trip to Yala with a great and safe guide and organised a breakfast to go hamper for the journey which was fabulous.
