Judith is a fantastic host. It was very nice hear her stories and get a bit of history of the house. We felt very at home and can recommend everybody to sleep here. We regret we only stayed one night, because this is a very comfortable base to do some more in the area.

Comfy and quite also very homely. Super clean and the service from Joy was excellent !! Both Joy and Norman were friendly and made us feel very welcomed even the cat came out to say hi :) Had breakfast in room with lots of choices including some seasonal fruits. Bath was big and just perfect for soaking in at the end of the day after long trekking.

The pool suite was fantastic - immaculately clean wiith lovely homemade touches such as muffins, pies and snacks which were unexpected and greatly appreciated after a long trip. Sue could not have been kinder and went out of her way to bring out toys for our toddler who was having a tantrum after the journey. The pool, playground and play house were a kid's dream.

Olive House was great. It was the perfect choice for beginning our travels through the south island. John and Ping were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful with information on Christchurch and its environs. The accommodation was very spacious. While the house is located on the outskirts of the city, the bus service to and from downtown was very convenient -- the bus stop is just a couple of minutes walk away. The airport is not too far away as well. There was room to park our rental car.

We had a very comfortable stay at this Airbnb. The room, though not large, was very cozy. The bed was soft, and we slept very well. The room was also very clean and warm. The host, Vicky, was extremely friendly and recommended a great place for dinner. We had a wonderful night and would love to come back again!
