Warkworth Country House bed and breakfast was a wonderful place to stay. We received a very warm welcome from Allan and Linley on arrival and shown to our room overlooking their beautiful gardens. The room was very clean, tastefully decorated with a lovely comfortable bed. That evening we sat on the deck and listened to all the beautiful birdsong and enjoyed a wine. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed meeting other guests to hear of their travels.

We were fortunate enough that larger accommodation was available, so were spoilt with a free upgrade. The cottage we had was beautiful, massive bed, lovely garden! Annie and Peter were wonderful, they gave us recommendations on where we should go and the breakfast was delicious!

We had a great stay in Matakana. The studio is light. airy and very well equipped, with one of the most comfortable beds that we have ever slept on. Lynette was a great host and we look forward to having the chance to stay with her again in the future.
