We loved this place! It smelt so clean and was so clean the moment we stepped foot inside. There js a communal kitchen, but we also had a fridge in our room. There was a beautiful place in the back to sit and relax. Hamed arranged a tour for us to Jabal Shams and it was so convenant and fantastic and well priced. Honestly this place exceeded my expectations.

Love, love, love! From the second I walked in it felt like meeting old friends. The staff is exceptional. The room was spacious and had a gobsmackingly awesome view (even though I had the ground floor room) . Dinner and breakfast was delicious with lots of variations. The little village is a quick 5 minute walk away and has great corners to explore (don't miss out on the scenic 30 min hike to the spring) This is the perfect place to relax and wind down! ♥️

The house was originally intended to be a home for the owners family, however, Hamad decided to rent it to tourists. This gives you the unique ability to spend a night in a historical building in a similar way how Omanis live right now. Hamad and his son are extremely friendly, provided a wide range of delicious sweets and gave us a quick history lesson of the region and Omani tradition. Not one of the most expensive stays during our trip but one we will keep in our heart!

Mr. Ali and Mr Ahmed are amazing hosts. The most supportive and helpful people. They provided us whatever we needed. We were camping and we requested them if we can take the room blanket to our tent and Mr Ali was like... please take whatever you need. if you need any other thing please let us know and we will arrange. That was a great gesture.

    The guest house is a traditional clay house. Very charming and with a lot of charcter. So far it is the only house on the street that has been renewed. Hopefully more will follow. The owner is lovely and very helpful with anything. We talked to him and he recommended some things to do around the town and also told us about the history of the house. The guest house is very quiet since there are only about ten rooms and it has a wonderful atmosphere because of the clay. From the rooftop terrace there is a gorgeous view over the oasis

    Great location. 4 klm from balcony walk, 1.5klm from Jebel Sham's walk. Quiet, peaceful, mountain scenery spectacular, food absolutely delicious, owner very helpful, we had no vehicle but was still able to complete walks, room was clean and sufficient, great value, owners very polite and caring. Owner drove us down off mountain for a fee, loved every minute of my stay in the beautiful mountainside. It was a pleasure to be surrounded by nature and jaw dropping landscapes.
