It s a perfect place for visiting Matmata and make trips to Sahara or other berber villages. It s clean, nice rooms, confortable and Jamal &Rabia are the perfect host and very helpful with everything we needed. They give us good advise on what to visit and also Jamel was our guide to Sahara.

With mountain views, Au Trait d'Union Tijma Matmata is set in Matmata and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area.

A unique experience, highly recommended! Habib and his family were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were also (by far) the best meals we've had during our entire 10-day trip across Tunisia. Would definitely make a point of returning there if we make it to this part of the world again.

A lovely hotel in a quiet area just a short walk from the centre of the village. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again.

Everything! The room was such a nice surprise. Bigger than we expected. It was so beautiful, clean, warm in winter and comfortable. It was a beautiful experience. Dinner was also delicious, best vegetarian couscous we tried in Tunisia! The family was very welcoming and Musa was so helpful and attentive. It couldn't have been any better and we wished we could have stayed longer!

Located in Tamezret in the Gabes region, Auberge de Tamezret features a patio. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge.
