Grear location, nicely furnished and decorated, very friendly and profesionl host. Just few tips - provide a coffee spoon in the room as well as powdered milk. Make sure the terasse door also opens from outside.

- Toutou is a great host, he will make that you feel like at home from the very first moment. Dar Hkaïem is a home away from home. I really felt like at home during my stay. I was supposed to stay for 2 days but I finally stayed almost a week... it's a great place with very positive vibes. - Dar Hkaïem is a wonderful traditional house in Hammam Sousse, just a bit outside of Sousse. Public transportation to Sousse, to the train station or to the louage is extremely easy (and also very cheap) and Hammam Sousse is by far much nicer than Sousse. I always walked back home at night and it's a super safe place. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, and also to stay in Hammam Sousse, the atmosphere is much better than in Sousse, especially in the evening or at night. - There are also plenty of options around Dar Hkaïem for a café, having dinner, etc. But if you prefer, you can have breakfast or even dinner in the house. There is also a kitchen that you can use (I didn't) but it has everything what you could need. - WiFi is excellent, I had to work a few times during my stay and it worked excellent. It's also the perfect place if you need to work remotely or if you just need a good WiFi for any reason. - Thanks for the great experience, I hope to come back soon!

This place has a Michelin rated restaurant. The chef was wonderful and he did everything possible to make us comfortable. it is a beautiful, old and renovated property. The atmosphere is wonderful.

Very friendly and accommodating manager. Breakfast and the couscous meals were delicious. Even laundry service is available. The manager brought us on a tour to Monastir, which was a special experience. Very good price performance ratio.

If you want to be in the old medina this place is perfect. It is also safe, I wandered around day & night by myself down these little alleys and never felt threatened - you will just meet families and people going about their lives who often say hello with a smile. The owner is super helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to monastir. If you want busyness and things to entertain you in your accommodation this isn’t but if you appreciate peace and having space to yourself it’s perfect.

Dar Andrea is a villa in the Medina that has been lovingly restored by the host. It was restored with great attention to detail and is quite beautiful. The rooftop terrace is lovely and the rooms are nicely appointed with antique furniture. The breakfast is excellent and it is a great experience to be in the heart of the Medina.
