My gf and I have stayed at The Bear on multiple occasions to visit her family and each time we are blown away at how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is to us. They go out of their way to make your stay great and have always helped us keep luggage there safely as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. Invaluable to us so that we can go to other areas without having to take massive amounts of luggage with total peace of mind that all is 100% safely looked after. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was a good size, quite spacious, and had everything you need. Lovely huge window overlooking the main road. We had a lovely stay for about a week. Very well located just a minute away from the MRT station and 10 minutes walk for the Night Market. Definitely I would stay again if I visit Taipei.

Location was great, we mainly caught the bus from Huakaifugui bus station to nearby MRT station. We didn't really enjoy breakfast, there were lots of tour groups and the choices were minimal, so we mostly had breakfast outside. We love that the water for the bath is really the authentic hot spring from Wulai. Having a bath it in it for few days really makes your skin smooth as baby! Defs a bonus as we don't have a car to travel to Wulai, having the hot spring in our hotel room is amazing!

Spacious clean and light room. Great location between dihua street and Zhongshan. Great plus is de wasmachine. Very helpfull and friendly staff. Shower js great. We could leave our suitcases after checking out. When we come back to taipei we would definitly book again.
