A very friendly owner and the entire staff. Excellent breakfast (both option-wise and taste-wise). The upgraded room alloted to us was huge and very comfortable. View from the room (balcony) was very soothing and my only regret is that I could not stay longer. This property deserves a weekend stay because of the peace and quiet it offers.

One of my highlights of my 10 days of travel in Uganda was staying in Jinja at Home on the Nile. The location is incredible looking out over the water. It was very peaceful, and I loved relaxing and reading on the balcony. It's also close to the town centre and lovely cafes (for instance only a 20-minute walk or a very quick boda boda to The Deli). The staff were incredible -- extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. They made my stay memorable and helped to organize a white-water rafting trip for me. If I'm back in Jinja, I will always try to stay here!

Clean and tidy place in jinja. Walkable distance to the town or you may get a boda boda. Easy to find boda boda at all time. The place was empty when I visited however the staffs were very helpful. Also close to the boat ride in River nile
