Sam the dog loves to come for a pat and even the friendly chickens love some attention! We absolutely loved our stay here over 5 nights it was the perfect place to centre our holiday to do some sightseeing around Hobart and the southern towns. All you need to bring is your clothes as pretty much everything else is provided. We will definitely be back as we’ve fallen in love with this beautiful little town and everything it has to offer, only 40min from the city of Hobart.

The accommodation provides full-day security and luggage storage space for guests. I loved that we had a microwave recipe to make scrambled eggs from the freshly laid eggs supplied. Henrrietta invited us to her studio and explained her various painting techniques to us. Paul was very friendly each time we chatted. We loved the view of the Huon River; day and night. The possums and pademelons visited the garden at night searching for food. Tasmania had a very dry summer.
