The staff are hardworking and went the extra mile to make our stay amazing. We had breakfast while looking out at the farm and animals. We were then invited to visit all the farm animals. This was the highlight of the trip for my kids! The staff were so friendly and accommodating to my family's needs. After meeting the animals we walked down to the beautiful beach. On the way back the kids stopped to play on the playground boat. It began to rain hard so we spent some time in the games room playing pool, ping pong, karaoke, and board games. I would come back here in a heartbeat and would highly recommend.

Sharing a bathroom with potentially 6 guests would not be good, and make it a bit pricey for a very upmarket hostel . . But I was fortunate to be the only guest, and it was just wonderful. Out of town ,so quiet, and on a fast half hour frequent bus link to Victoria.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Outdoor furniture is available for guests to relax or dine outside. Si and Daniel were incredibly accommodating and responsive to my needs, answering all my calls and messages kindly and in a timely fashion. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear. Their room was decently sized. I loved the kitchen and tea offerings. Having laundry there was a really nice bonus!! The property is at a bus stop that takes you right to the Bridgeport station. I was most especially grateful that Si and Daniel let my friend stay at such short notice after her Airbnb host kicked her out for a completely irrational and callous reason. I had told Si and Daniel a year ago when I booked when we first got tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Vancouver that a friend might be joining me. She had eventually gotten her own accommodations but when it didn’t work out and her Airbnb host left her out in the cold with nowhere to go, I texted Si around midnight on my first day and she said she could stay without hesitation. I was extremely relieved and me and my friend truly appreciate her and Daniel’s kindness and hospitality!!

The hosts were very accommodating. The hot tub was the icing on the cake only thing that needed to be addressed was you can only plug in one appliance in the kitchen at a time otherwise the fuse tripped. I think they just need to fit higher amp breaker on their fuse board, but I will be back.
