Martina was an excellent host! The breakfast was incredible, checkin was smooth and we had no issues with sharing a bathroom. There is a beautiful backyard to eat in. We came from a really long cycle ride and Martina went out of her way to pick up our pizza order as the restaurant across the road was on vacation. Perfectly matches the description

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The property is allergy-free and is situated less than 1 km from Messe Basel. The breakfast was beautifully laid out and was delicious. Kiki and Rolf were delightful people and there were many extra little touches. The back yard was very welcoming to relax and enjoy a little happy hour. The room was very roomy and comfortable. We were greeted with the biggest smile from both Rolf & Kiki.

The apartment of Casa Esperanza has a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony and a private bathroom. The studio and the double room have shared bathroom facilities and an electric kettle. Overall, a great experience. I was met by Kai, who took me to my room, and explained everything, including with a lever-arch file of notes. He checked that I had everything I needed, and then left. I didn't need to contact him, but I had all his contact details in case I did. It's a large enough room with beds, a table and a well-enough equipped kitchen, and a fan in case it gets a bit hot. There is enough hanging space in the cupboard. The bathroom is shared with another room (I knew that at the time of booking), and that might not suit everybody, but it was perfectly fine with me. The location is great: about 2-3 blocks from a tram intersection for the Number 1 tram that goes to the main station and to the Messe Convention centre. Other trams are also there, but I did not use them. There are also two largish grocery stores in the vicinity of the tram station.

Like, for example, they saw that my car didn't have the vignette in the right place and they advise me to put it right to avoid a fine. If I had stayed in a hotel they would not even care I think. Hey also attended to other personal and specific requests I had (for personal reasons I wont share) and they did go above and beyond what I would have expected. Breakfast was very good as well.
