Very friendly owner that directed to delicious evening restaurants and gave us wonderful directions to reach a shortcut path downtown. We felt very safe and welcomed. It is set 43 km from Springbank Whisky Distillery and offers a housekeeping service. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. This was the best B&B I've ever stayed in. Reasons for that were easy parking on a nice gravel spread in front of the house, tea and cake on arrival, spotless and extremely comfortable room (the whole place was very clean and well looked after), top quality breakfast and a very welcoming and attentive hostess.

Andrea cooked us a delicious 3-course meal made of local ingredients, and even made us a to-go breakfast (even though we had to leave before sunrise) with possibly the best breakfast egg and bacon roll I’ve ever had. Everything was top-notch and it was such a beautiful time, we felt so lucky to have been able to stay here! Great location near the port if you’re traveling to Islay.
