Recently refurbished so everything was brand new and done with great taste and care. Very nice room and en-suite bathroom and lovely continental breakfast spread with lots of choice. They also catered for my gluten-free wife which was great. The host was extremely friendly and attentive and looked after any requests we had.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Being tucked away with just a couple of horses for neighbours, in a stylish and immaculately clean studio, a stones throw from the heathland was perfect. We were asked about dietary requirements in advance and just hoped we might get some nondairy milk, we got so much more - mushrooms, bread, jam, marmite, plant based butter (not marg), cereal, granola, berries, orange juice, tea and coffee and all good quality (Waitrose). Honestly excellent :)

Tastefully decorated and a lovely size room with an added bonus of a bath. It was comfortably warm and lovely and clean.

At the bed and breakfast, all units have bed linen and towels. Friendly and hugely welcoming hosts. It was so lovely to meet John and Steph, a real delight. It was great the get some history of the area and excellent recommendations for walks and places to eat. As the other reviews said, the breakfast was also a highlight of our stay. So delicious! And watching the birds whilst having breakfast was just joyful. A real gem of a place, thoroughly recommended to everyone.

All units at the bed and breakfast are fitted with a seating area. We loved our stay at Rosedale. Jenny and her husband were always very kind and hospitable. We had juice, water and milk placed daily in our mini fridge and we also had biscuits placed in our room. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely as well and prepared daily for us. They also let us use their bike sheds to store our bikes which was very much appreciated. The house is super close to the centre, only a few minute walk to the heritage centre, a 10 minute walk to Bolton's bench and also very close to shops and restaurants. Great stay overall.
