Everything was perfect...really nice and friendly. Only downside was that he did not want to sell me his beautiful handcrafted modelship 😉

I really enjoyed the vibes of wood cabin and the glorious garden surrounding it. I also was grateful that everything for a proper and nice breakfast was kindly provided.

It was a very central location, with a parking space which is a major advantage for Lewes. The apartment was clean and very well appointed with quirky and effective decor. The complimentary food items were fresh and good quality and very welcome. It's light and airy, the bathtub was a lovely touch.

Absolutely amazing little place. The little chalets out the back of the pub are so cute & comfortable!!! Had a really amazing & romantic stay. The power outage and the use of candles & the fire in the pub added to the romantic atmosphere!!! The shower is amazing with the choice of rainfall or regular head. The bed is super comfy. Love the little outdoor area that you can sit and have a drink or order food to your room. It was a bit cold for us to do that but was nice to have a private little area to sit. As it is a cricket themed pub, very much enjoyed all the cricket memorabilia and golf statues outside every room!! We had breakfast in the pub the next morning!! Either continental or hot breakfast menu choices. We went the full English & Vege breakfasts which were yummy!!! Again fire was going so it was lovely sitting by the fire to eat our breakfast before having to return to reality!!!

Victoria Gardens is 12 km from the bed and breakfast, while Churchill Square Shopping Centre is 12 km away. London Gatwick Airport is 54 km from the property. It was a lovely stay by Madeline in her little house. Felt more like staying by a good old friend than being just a guest. Breakfast is great, in a few minutes walk you're at the sea and all other sights, like Brighton and Seven Sisters are not far away by bus. Everything is very clean at the house and Madeline gives great tips where to go. Highly recommend!
