The owners gave us a full bar of Icelandic chocolate as a welcoming gift. Very generous of them. We really hope you keep the price low and the rooms clean and neat in the future!

Guesthouse Bitra B&B’s simple rooms have either private or shared bathroom facilities. They provide views of Mount Hekla or the surrounding countryside. We had a great stay at the guesthouse on top of the hill. The location is great next to the cross roads of Golden Circle and the road to south coast. The facilities were in really great shape and the rooms were comfy and clean.

Room was of a good size, everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, great shower. Room has outside door which leads onto a patio. Nice views outside of the mountains and also some horses nearby. Very big and clean shared kitchen area, that also includes a sitting area with couches. Great location, very near Gullfoss waterfall. We did not use the kitchen for dinner, only for breakfast, and it had everything we needed. We were the only guests which made for a lovely quiet stay.

Comfy, very clean and very spacious shared areas. Good value for money. I slept like an baboon in a jungle! We even saw the northern lights!! Would highly recommend!
