The location of the hotel was about a 5 minute walk to the city center and a 10 minute walk to Sassi, Matera. There was a parking garage around the corner about a 2 min walk away which was also extremely convenient. Very pleased all around with this room!

The host is incredibly helpful, we checked in late and he gave me a very detailed instructions to let us in and it was very smooth, and we also checked out early which is also no problem. The view is amazing, you can see the main church thru the balcony especially at night. We had a short stay but a memorable one.

We were offered breakfast tickets, therefore we could have some breakfast before catching the bus early in the morning, which was quite nice. Would definitely recommend.

We were welcomed by a wonderful host, who took the time to familiarize us with Matera, its history, and the landmarks, but also the best restaurants, bakeries, and bars. The apartment was amazing (we got the upgrade, but I saw the other room and it was excellent as well), and the position of the villa is very central and near to most of the landmarks. The breakfast, with homemade products, was a real treat! Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality.
