We had reserved rooms with "mountain view", but the rooms were actually on the backside of the building with views of the valley rather than Etna. After much discussion, we were able to pay an extra 20 Euro per room to move to suites with Etna view. The only rooms with Etna view are the three suites with jacuzzi baths, all on the ground floor. The pool is nice, but really doesn't have much of a view as there is a large building next door.blocking the view. The suites were very modern with comfortable beds.

In the City Centre district of Taormina, close to Taormina Cable Car - Upper Station, Villa Conrad has free bikes and a washing machine. Featuring private parking, the guest house is 4.1 km from Isola Bella. The property is 300 metres from the city centre and 1.9 km from Villagonia Beach. Villa Conrad exceeded our expectations in every way - the room space and decor and the incredible facilities that we had access to at Hotel Metropole - the staff at hotel metropole are just lovely - the location is just perfect. Can’t wait to come back,I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Taormina. The photos online don’t do justice for this properly.

We really liked this place. It was clean and modern, looks like it was recently renovated. The hosts were very kind. One of the best stays during our stay on the island.

Featuring quiet street views, Paladino provides accommodation with balcony, around 1.2 km from Giardini Naxos Beach. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. We loved everyting, great breakfast, great beds, big room and everyting was new, the owner was very kind and helpful. We will come back next year, definitly we recomend this accomodation. The room was the epitome of old world charm, the furnishings were beautiful and the bathroom was ultra modern - and everything was spotlessly clean. The proprietor and Paola were very kind and helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

A recently renovated property, Taormina charming rooms is situated in Taormina near Taormina Cable Car - Upper Station, Taormina Cathedral. It is located 2.2 km from Villagonia Beach and features luggage storage space. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. It is a 2 minute walk to the Main Street which many shops, bars and restaurants and stunning views. Nando the host is amazing. He said he would treat us as his son and daughter all week and did not disappoint! He gave us a checklist of the best locations in Taormina, many of which were not on the usual tourist websites. He also helped us plan our day trip to Etna in a cost effective way, and knew all the best spots to stop off at and visit on the way back, even ringing up the cable car company to advise on the best day to visit with the forecast weather. He booked reservations for us as at fantastic restaurants and was so helpful.  An amazing stay in Taormina and we hope to visit again soon!!
