We were met by Asai who explained everything we needed to know including payments, food options, rentals etc. Bungalows are lovely and have a fan which was absolutely fine for us. There are only 6 and they are spaced out from each other so you feel you have privacy. Each bungalow had a nice outdoor seating area. The restaurant served amazing food, we had breakfast every day and dinner once and was really good with very, very generous portions! It's also a lovely setting and if you climb a few stairs there is a rooftop platform for lounging on. Kayaks are available for rental which would be perfect as the property is based amongst the mangroves, unfortunately we didn't get to to this as they were booked out! And yes, the river otter is still there and very cute! You will hear him coming when the dogs go mental lol. As per other reviews it is in a rural location, however based on our research of reviews and being able to ride bikes, this was no problem for us. However even if you don't drive, its a great location for just chilling and relaxing! Property can also support you with tuk tuks to and from the pier. We had a great stay, thank you to Lin, Asai, Lily and family!

I had an amazing stay at Dahlia Guesthouse 🌸 Ellen was incredibly helpful from the moment I booked, and her warm welcome made me feel right at home. The guesthouse was perfect - clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed. I didn’t want to leave. Thank you again, Ellen, for an unforgettable stay. Every morning the owner made me a great coffee, and in the evenings his wife prepared the best vegetable soup. For exploring the island, it’s ideal to rent a scooter — you can do so right upon arrival at Longset Pier, and if you don’t have too much luggage, you can head straight to the guesthouse. Overall, I truly recommend this place

It is 26 km to Sihanoukville. I loved this place. The most beautiful beach with some okay food places near by without needing a motorbike. I was worried about safety as stayed in a tent but they provide lockers and I felt very secure.

If you're looking for something more authentic than a trussed-up resort, this could be it. Comfortable bungalows on stilts in a village. You'll probably need your own wheels. I loved it 😍

A terrace with an outdoor dining area and sea views is offered in all units. All units have a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. We had very nice stay at Blondies. Bungalow was very clean and have good facilities. John is very nice man and he is also very helpful and give you lots of good advice. There is no WiFi which is good escape from Internet and social media but if you need to be connected buy Cellcard it working well. Beach is walkable.

Really friendly owners, spotlessly clean room and a really comfortable bed. Just a shame we could only stay 1 night.

Boasting garden views, Macondo Mpai bay features accommodation with terrace, around 200 metres from M’Pai Bay Beach. It is situated less than 1 km from M’Pai Bay Wild Beach and offers luggage storage space. The rooms are fitted with a patio with views of the quiet street. 12/10 would stay here again! My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and it truly felt like our home away from home. The location was perfect; a two minute walk to the beach and is near bars/restaurants. The staff/owners are the kindest people and put in a lot of care to ensure that their guests are comfortable. Our biggest regret about the whole trip was that we never ordered Mela's famous dumplings! We know better for next time though. Cannot recommend enough!
