The location was perfect, offering easy access to most of Colombo. What really stood out was the exceptional value for money. The quality of service and amenities far exceeded my expectations for the price. They had reliable high speed internet which was more than adequate for zoom/teams meetings. The host was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my requests, making the stay even more comfortable. Whether it was accommodating a late checkout to coincide with my flight or adjusting meal options for breakfast, they were always happy to help. I had a fantastic stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and hassle-free experience. I’ll definitely be returning!

Situated within 1.9 km of Bambalapitiya Beach and 2.7 km of Bambalapitiya Railway Station, Srilax features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Colombo. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. The rooms are very comfortable and the interior design makes you feel at ease. The staff is super friendly. I forgot my apple pencil here and they kept it safe for me over 3 weeks until I came back to Colombo, thank you! :)

What made the experience even more outstanding and memorable was the incredibly kind staff led by Rohana. We will always cherish our stay at Mr Bava’s place and hope to be back one day soon.

Aathma Colombo House features certain rooms with lake views, and each room is fitted with a private bathroom. All units feature a wardrobe. Beautiful property in a tranquil spot by the river, wonderful service and such friendly staff. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay more! We arrived early in the day and were offered breakfast and they were also able to have our room ready early, which was fantastic! Can't recommend Aathma Colombo House enough. We had a few hours exploring Colombo and it was quick to get to the city by Tuk Tuk.

Nestled on a serene lane in Colombo 3, Lake Lodge is a charming 10-room retreat that combines understated elegance with warm hospitality in the heart of the capital. Just a short stroll from the Gangaramaya Temple and Beira Lake, and only a few minutes’ drive from key attractions such as the U.S. Embassy (700m), Khan Clock Tower (2.5km), and R. Premadasa Stadium (3.3km), this stylish property serves as an ideal base for both business and leisure travelers. Small boutique hotel tucked away in the middle of the city, very near to the lake temple, gangaramaya temple and a mall. The room is simple yet Asian styled, very minimalist and sophisticated. The room is quiet at night which allowed me to go to bed early - around 8 am I was not disturbed. But the best part is the hotel team. The manager, the reception team, the restaurant staff - exceptionally polite, efficient, accommodating and well-spoken. They asked all the right questions to make my stay as comfortable as they could. Having learned that my train leaves at 7 am the next day and I have to be out the door after 6 am, they put together a breakfast which was ready by the time of my check-out. Loved my stay there!
