Wish we had booked for longer! Great pool with lots of sun loungers and beanbags. Owner is also a chef. We had a wonderful breakfast and wish we had more time to experience his cooking for lunch or dinner. Were also very helpful arranging Yala safari for us ☺️

The host is very generous and helpful, probably the best host I’ve ever met. He basically helped us with everything, the booking of kayaking in the lake, the turtle watching, he took us to the beach and shared lots of useful information. He even waited at the beach to ride my kids back by his motorcycle when it was almost 10 pm. As we were swimming, he arranged our dinner by the pool. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. As for the villa, it is clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Every room has a clothes drying rack, which is very thoughtful. My favorite is the swimming pool, very clean and modern, there is also a kids pool too!

At the guest house, each unit is fitted with a seating area. The entire family that run this place are about the nicest people you will ever meet. They did above and beyond to help me out, notably finding and then physically hailing mystery bus #10 direct to Elle which saved me 7 hours travel time. Facilities were clean, comfortable and relaxing even though, because I was too cheap to pay for air conditioning, a little hot in the early evenings. I suggest you choose more wisely. They have free bikes, which I was unable to take advantage of but others raved about and the on site food was very good. Bring guitar pics, music, and a few licks for their talented son.

At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. You feel you are close to nature. Lodge feels new and fresh. Bathroom is nice, a European standard, so not common. But most of all owner and manager give each tourist attention and are open to help. We had a great dinner at the lodge, so it’s worth trying, owner is a man of many talents. Last but not least pool is well maintained and water felt great like silk. Beach is close by, waves were crashing hard but if you swim further it’s calm.

I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

Amazing please with amazing staff!!!!!! Everything was perfect!!!! The room was very big and very clean!!! Nice balcony with the garden view!!! Always fresh breakfast and good food for lunch or dinner! It was just 5 minutes by walk to the beach!!! And the staff is the BEST, what we meet in the world!!!! 🙏🙏🙏 Always very helpful, always smile, always there ….. Thank you very very much!!!!! We recommend it 💯💯💯!!!!

If you want to relax and be close to nature (especially turtles), this is the perfect property since it is right next to the beach! The host is very friendly, and he was helpful to us! He helped us with renting a scooter and he showed us the beautiful Rekawa beach. Also, he managed tickets for the night tour where we saw a mother turtle nest. He even drove us to the bus stop. It was amazing and I highly recommend AMOUR AT TURTLE BEACH! And by the way, the breakfasts were amazing and delicious :)

The staff are amazing, always making an effort to ensure everything is perfect. A few times while outside they bought a fan and incense sticks to make the experience even better. The place is walking distance to the beach and town, I would thoroughly recommend staying here if looking to come to Tangalle!
