In the mornings you wake up surrounded by nature, with the songs of birds all around. The family is a lovely couple with two adorable little daughters who brought us fresh flowers from the garden every day. The husband and wife are warm, simple, and genuine – something rare to find nowadays. Staying with them reminded us how happiness really comes from enjoying the little things. Words cannot describe how special this home stay is. It is so affordable, comfortable and spotlessly clean and the location is perfect with restaurants at your doorstep and a view of Sigirya rock just outside the property. But the best part of this accomodation is the host family, who do everything to make your stay perfect and with genuine care. We also did a cooking class with mum and grandma which was so interesting and many laughs and the breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had. At the end we were so sad to leave but hope to return one day to stay again as we feel like family members. Thank you to Saji, your wife, parents and beautiful daughters for our amazing memories of Sri Lanka.

At the guest house, units come with bed linen and towels. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The patties were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also served bananas grown on their own farm, called "Naga bananas." I was surprised by their rich, sticky texture. Whenever I asked for help with things I wanted to do or places I wanted to visit, they immediately made arrangements. They were incredibly reliable and helpful. Also, their child was so cute—it was very heartwarming.

Less than a 5-minute drive from the city center, this hotel is nestled on a vast plain, creating a tranquil escape. Its location is convenient for Sigiriya (approximately a 30-minute drive), downtown Dambulla, and the cave temples. The room was comfortable, the amenities worked flawlessly, the garden setting was delightful, and the staff were warm and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and highly recommended! For such a reasonable price, with such a good accommodation and breakfast, and a prime location, it's truly excellent!

Being close to our planned attractions made everything so much easier. On top of that, the breakfast was delicious! We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would highly recommend this place to other travelers.

We liked everything - the room, the food, the location … Breakfast is really good (and very much) and the owner also cooked dinner for us once which was also delicious. Another day they took us to Sigiriya to go to a restaurant and also picked us up again afterwards. Really nice!
