At the bed and breakfast, the units come with bed linen and towels. Riva is like a home from home. We had the best time staying in this clean, comfortable and welcoming place. The location is wonderful and being right on the water was the best way to wake up every morning. Gabi was amazing!! He was always happy to help us with anything we needed and more. His breakfasts are delicious; the perfect way to start our day. I would 100% recommend staying here for your time in Bocas.

Certain rooms have views of the sea or garden. Each room comes with a private bathroom. The service! Every staff member was helpful and very nice! They explained everything throughly and made sure we felt very special while we were there.

Hostal Hansi is in Bocas del Toro, 17 minutes' walk from El Istmito Beach. It is 50 meters from the docks.

Rooms are equipped with a safe, some offer a balcony. At the hostel or guest house, rooms include bed linen and towels. It’s a nice hostel just next to the docks in Bocas Town so very convenient location, multiple supermarkets around as well as restaurants and all tour operators. Also the local busses around the main island leave from the street behind. The beds are comfy and rooms spacious. No AC in most of Bocas hostels, we had a ceiling fan that didn’t rotate very fast so it got quite humid at times in the room but we had a little balcony to dry our stuff there. There is a common kitchen with good facilities and first time I see the fridges divided into sections by the room numbers, which was amazing. Another guest though still decided to steal our food (caught on security cameras) but the hostel staff handled it fantastically. We also got an extra blanket when requested and wanted to extend our stay with one more night and that was also immediately arranged for us.

The house includes 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with shower and warm water. Rooms on the ground floor share an outdoor warm water shower and bathroom. Facilities include a living room, dining room, kitchen and a terrace. Absolutely fabulous stay, loved every second of it and I struggle to think of anything they could have improved on to be honest. We were there for two nights and were the only guests who didn’t heed the news of the civil unrest en route and boy did it pay off! After communicating with Marco we knew it was safe to continue travel to the ‘BnB’ and the journey was absolutely fine with no delays or disruptions. The benefit of us knowing the journey would be fine was that we had the whole place to ourselves, other than Marco and his team (Ray who makes the BEST breakfasts and their colleague whose name fails me right now, who sets the rooms up immaculately) there were also two adorable dogs and two beautiful cats on site (all local rescues) who all came together to make our stay feel just like home. Their tagline on the welcome guide full of local tips, recommendations and discounts is ‘Welcome Home’ and it was spot on! They have thought of everything and went out of their way to make our stay as memorable and comfortable as possible and some. The weather wasn’t fully on our side for our stay but it was chilled, with beautiful views from both the open air deck and sheltered hammock area, impeccable service and we had practically the choice of the rooms, even after an immediate upgrade. The place is only a few minutes walk from the livelier centre but it’s 100% worth it, after extensive travel over the last 10 years this is comfortably the best all round experience I have had and I would recommend to anyone to book this wonderful property for your stay in Bocas Del Toro (and already have). Also worth noting that within the welcome guide there are discounts offered on recommended restaurants and activities in BDT, we benefitted from these twice in restaurants and once in a bar and they were 10/10, Marco even booked our onward transport from BDT at a far better price than we’d found ourselves.

The property has sea and mountain views. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. Nicolas was a very friendly host, and the breakfast—freshly prepared every day—was absolutely delicious, with a choice of five different dishes. This is the ideal BnB for anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet stay. The free bike provided by the accommodation made it easy to reach the city center in just a few minutes. It's worth noting that the rooms are not serviced, but I personally didn’t find that to be a problem. Thank you so much for having me!

Offering wooden furniture, tropical-style décor and a seating area, the rooms are equipped with mosquito net, fan and a private bathroom. All come with garden views, while some units feature bay views. Absolutely loved Dolphin Bay Hideaway! The atmosphere and staff were amazing. Amy and Brian really made us feel welcomed, and it will be a place we will always remember. JA's food was outstanding! Brian's nature walk and evening boat cruise were highlights of our stay. Dolphin Bay Hideaway far exceeded our expectations.

Bamboo Lodge, a property with a garden and a bar, is set in Bocas del Toro, 300 metres from Y Griega Beach, less than 1 km from Istmito, as well as 2.6 km from Paunch Beach.

Featuring a private bathroom, units at the bed and breakfast also have free WiFi, while certain rooms also offer a terrace. Everything about Bamboo Lodge was superb. Our room was spacious, new and furnished to a high standard, with a hot shower, air con and a big comfy bed. The pool is excellent and the poolside area is a lovely place to relax with a drink. Stefan and Julie were incredibly accomodating hosts, super friendly and with good recommendations for the area. The location is a bit outside town (it's easy enough to walk and taxis aren't expensive) and this makes it very peaceful. But there are good places to eat and drink nearby - the Sicilian restaurant a few doors down is great and the Pipa beach bar round the corner is also very nice.
