This is a perfect location if you want to go up to Zugspitze and meanwhile visit Neuschwanstein Castle and surrounding villages. The room had all the necessary, was very clean and comfortable. Frau Luttinger is a wonderful, helpful host - I have enjoyed my stay greatly! There are places to eat, a shop, a supermarket and a gas station in the village; even more options within 15 minutes driving distance. There are plenty of great hikes in the neighbourhood, the famous Bavarian castles are just 30 minutes away. The village is centrally located for skiing and mountain bikes. It was great having cooking facilities for the basics. The little general store a few doors down was fantastic to get bits and pieces. I forgot my cash and the lady said just pay me tomorrow morning as it was closing time. The view was spectacular from the balcony or bed. Thank you.Guest review byShannonYoung couple
