We booked one night at Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede for a quick stop during a road trip around Austria. Even though we arrived too late, Kim gave us all the facilities to enter the house without any problems. Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede is a very tastefully decorated house, with a great attention to detail in every corner. We were surprised by the number of amenities provided, with a wide range of possibilities for outdoor activities nearby, both in summer and winter. On top of that, after we found out we forgot a beanie at the house upon our departure, Kim very kindly offered to send it back to my address. All in all, highly recommendable accommodation in every aspects and we will surely make sure to come back if we get the chance.

It was just perfect. We did not want to cook but the kitchen was so inspiring that we were soon in the spar nearby to get some materials and then we had a delicious self made dinner. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious.

Silvia the host is very warm and accommodating. The location is in the centre of town and there is a good cafe and restaurant at the premises which is open from 8 am to 7pm, so very handy when you arrive thirsty and tired! Lovely place to just sit, and popular with the locals. The kitchen is well equipped and bathroom, dining and bedroom spacious. There is a tourist information on site.

We had a fantastic stay with Gerdien and her wonderful family. The apartment was charming and very comfortable. There is a large garden with a couple of friendly goats and the river drau is close by to paddle in.. We stayed for 2 weeks and was very sad to leave. There's lots to do in the area for all ages and there is no chance to get bored here. All in all a fabulous holiday.

The Guesthouse is located in the centre of a little charming town on the main little square. The ambient is very pleasant with the castle on the hill just above the square. We were seven people in total and stayed here with absolute comfort. It is warm, spacious, quiet and clean. The kitchen had a lot of dishes and cups, all sorts of things for cooking. We also used a sauna on the premises which is very affordable. The best part is having a private ski room with a heater!
