Holiday Rentals in Landiswil

The location is in the middle of beautiful forest and farming country. Normally I look for places within 5-10 minutes of my destination (Ittigen, Bern), but I enjoyed this place so much, I will definitely stay here again, even though it's about 20 minutes from where I'm going to. Looking out the windows in the morning, and seeing 3 horses across the road, just made it all that much nicer and "tranquillo".

We've spent a week in Eggelried with a family of four (kids 4 and 7). The place is exceptional for many reasons: (1) Barbara and her family are wonderful hosts. We were so well taken care of (thank you, Barbara!) and, in the same time, we had all the privacy we needed. The communication (in EN and FR) was very efficient before, during and after our stay. (2) The apartment is spacious, clean, very practical, exceptionally well equipped (like home), with big cozy living room (toys!) and wonderful views from the windows all-around. There are anti-insects solutions (incl. nets on windows), so you are not bothered by flies. (3) The farm is beautiful. The garden offers a lot of playing opportunities for kids. The hot tub with the mountain/stars views was very relaxing. The big terrace offers you a possibility to eat outside. The variety of animals and the possibility for kids to engage in the farm work and feeding the animals was great - they've enjoyed it so much! Dogs usually have made my kids anxious, and it was also a case during the first days of our stay, but now, when I ask them what they've liked most during the holiday, the answer is: Simba and Blake! (4) The location is great. With detailed instructions given by the host, we have found the farm easily (despite darkness and fog). There was a covered parking place ready for us - very close to the entrance to the apartment, so it was logistically easy with luggage and kids. You can start you walking route from your front door - no need to get anywhere by car. The views around are stunning. There is a restaurant close to the farm (10 min walk). (5) The possibility to buy (for a very reasonable price) delicious fresh or homemade milk/bread/cheese/jams/butter...... was a highlight on top of everything above. It made our stay easy and care-free. We've got everything we needed and a lot of unexpected surprises too!

What a brilliant place to stay. Part communal living, part casual resort, part family-style retreat, we were delighted by the subtle touches and care that staff provided in our too-brief stay. Large, spacious, comfortable room, with welcoming bed and exquisite pillows; an oversized bathroom with great shower. Lovely balcony beneath shaded trees. And the extras: we came home from a day of exploring to find our room tided, clothing we had hung over a chair rail on the balcony to dry hung neatly on a drying rack that had escaped our view; bedding neatened and sleeping attire folded and left atop the duvet. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, but used the spacious, well-equipped kitchen to prepare an evening meal for a break from expensive and mediocre Swiss cuisine in the area, which was a welcome break. We also prepared our own breakfast in the morning before departure on the last day. Quiet, comfortable, extremely reasonably priced - we highly recommend a stay.

Excellent accommodation. Location is great, walking distance to the city center and Paul Klee Zentrum. Very nice and green area, safe, calm and silent. There is also a great public transport, but it is not far from the center to walk through amazing paths with the best views of Bern. The house is very beautiful with wonderful big garden, the host is an artist so you can see lot of art. It is quiet and relaxing. Very clean, the whole building, bathroom and room were perfectly clean, ( bathroom is modern like recently made ), el. kettel and coffee machine with coffee capsule and tee in the room, bed is comfortable, high speed internet, hot water, heating in winter. There are 3 rooms and shared bathroom, but there is complete privacy. The host is very friendly, warm welcoming, kind and helpful for tourist info. It was a wonderful experience to stay in this house, I really recommend.

Property is in very nice location.Its only half an hour away from bern.Our Stay was very comfortable and pleasant.host was very kind and helpful.

It's a nice and lovely house addapted to receive guests. Its location is very convenient because you get to the train stop in one minute! And you can get to Berm in 18 minutes. The breakfast is very good as well

Lovely hosts, beautiful place

All our needs were met! The hosts did not forget or leave out anything! It felt truly like home. We loved the access to Netflix and kitchen equipment and the openness of the layout with calm colours all around. We extended our stay and are back to the same landlords in in a few months.
