beautiful quiet place, my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The room was smaller but very nice and clean. It was a short walk to the beach. The owners are very nice and listened to our requests. I recommend it.

A lovely place to stay in San Jose! Very close to the beach. both the room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable, and it had air conditioning. The breakfast is delicious, the best we had during our 2-weeks travel around Costa Rica! We haven’t dined in the restaurant there but the bar in the garden is great! Especially that there is not really where to go around town after dark (which is a big advantage as Puerto Carrillo is calm and peaceful) :) And last but not least, very kind and helpful staff!

This is the best example of a homestay! Cora opened her home for us, two tired parents with young children - and after travelling Costa Rica for a month, she took such good care of us and stepped in as grandmother for a moment. Her granddaughters also were so sweet and played with our sons. Cora makes the best breakfast we have ever had (!) but also made delicious dinner one night and went with us to the beach one day. The house is beautiful and the garden as well. Highly recommended!

Best accommodation in Costa Rica so far. The location is perfect just next to the beach, free parking, amazing breakfast. I enjoyed my stay very much!! The area of the hotel is beautiful, plenty of green plants! Ubicated at the center of Puerto Carrillo and with walk distance to Carrillo beach. Swimming pool is a nice bonus! I can recommend :-)
