Magali and the rest of the stuff where amazing and helped us with everything we needed whether it was to arrange a hike or to get an Aluguer to the next city. There is a nice balcony from where you can look at the mountains and just relax and enjoy the nature around. This is also the perfect spot to hike and discover the nearby Sierra Malagueta or to go to Assomada or Taraffal for a day. We can also highly recommend the Restaurant. The food is great and fresh, the service is awesome and the best part of it all is the home made ice cream!

Chiquinha is an absolutely lovely host! Spacious, comfortable room and very well equipped.

Well, where to start from? The place is simply excellent! It's one of the places that you would want to visit again in your life, not just to be in a city/town but also to stay in that exact same place. The room and the place in general was spotless clean, everything looked very new and fresh and it was decorated wonderfully, everyday the staff left small gifts which was a very nice detail. The breakfast was delicious, it's cooked literally next door and brought to the breakfast area, hot&fresh, and it varied from day to day, which was also very nice. Everyone who works at the hotel is wonderful, very helpful and very kind, always greeting you with a genuine smile and making you feel welcome. It's located about 10 minutes of walking distance from the beach, and 6-7 minutes from very nice restaurants. Tarrafal in itself is a beautiful place, but this place I think has made it even more special for me. Even though staying there was so nice and special, departing was equally difficult and I hope to return to this place one day in the future. Thank you very much!

What a modern and pleasant place! Fully equiped apartment! The cleaning is regular and it is located near everything. We were more than happy with our stay there! And the Owner Manuela is super friendly and always available to attend to her guests needs! Super recommended!

We stayed both in Villa Alegria as in Casa Alegria which both have their own charms. We preferred the casa because of the roof terrace and we liked the rooms a bit more BUT no worries if you book for the Villa, this one is nice as well ;-) The host, Irene, well what can i say...she's like a walking travel agency and has a superb netwerk all over the island. If you need things to be done, she will make it happen. Some ex: - Hiking in the Serra Malagueta (you can choose your own hike): she arranged a very reliable French/English/Portuguse speaking guide who has an incredible knowledge of the island. It seemed like he knew everyone where we came. His name Silvio. If you want to do something here, ask for him. PS: you can hike in the Serra alone, but with a guide you will go to places that you will not see on your own. - Arranging private transport: always reliable, English speaking persons with a normal driving style :-) - Arranging transport to other islands. It's not easy to get things done here. CVInterilhas website is not stable and Irene knows how to get you things done. - Tips for restaurant, food,..all spot on. We enjoyed the food here every day. - Problems of other kind? Irene will try to help you via her network. Her husband grew up here so things can be arranged a lot easier. - Transport to the airport, Irene. Aluguer is of course an option but you don't want to arrive late for you plane or ferry... Breakfast in both locations is in buffet style and is all you need: coffee/tea, 3 styles of cold drinks, milk and cereals, cheese/ham/salami, breads, eggs (boiled and mirror), fruits like banana, papaya, apples,...all you need. Location: quiet area, few 100m away from beach and restaurants. The best of both worlds ;-) Rooms: we stayed in 3 different rooms. One advise, take a room with airco. All rooms were spacy, clean and a lot of options. Fridge filled with free alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

First of all it’s all about the people ! The owner and staff are so nice, welcoming and helpful! Like they’ll get out of their way to make sure you’re all good and help you! They have great recommendations for food and places to go to! They were the highlight of my stay! The location is perfect, the dorm was comfortable and had everything that you need! There’s everything for cooking in the kitchen! Honestly it’s a great place to stay for a few days !

Ecodecor Rooms is a very convenient location, just a short walk from the beach. The room is large, spacious, and clean. The house has everything you need, even for a longer stay. Highly recommended!
