The owner was very hospitable and accomodating and the flat was really nice and peaceful! The city centre is about 40 minutes walking distance away or 4 stops on the tram/metro, so you can very easily get there. There is designated parking spot for the house and the area seems really safe, so no issues parking there!

The apartment is spotlessly clean, the bathroom is lovely, and the shower is amazing. There is plenty of storage for hanging up your clothes, the bed clothes are of really good quality and there is a lovely fresh fragrance when you walk in. We loved that there was a kitchenette, 2 hobs, a microwave, a fridge, and all the pots and pans that you need. The apartment seems to be in the suburbs of Cologne, with fantastic scenery. At the top of the road is the 152 bus that's brings you to the Tram services. (Download the KVB app for your 24hr or 48hr bus and tram ticket). We had a lovely time and can't wait to return. We did have an issue and locked ourselves out by mistake, and we contacted Laura, the owner, and she responded quick and had the problem solved in no time! Fantastic service.

We loved the house, 6 of us stayed and comfortably had enough room for sleep and getting ready etc. The house has a lovely back outdoor space which I imagine would be lovely in summer, and great space at the front for three cars we travelled over in.     Our 1-bedroom apartment was in a mixed facility. Part of it is a retirement home and part is short term rentals. Staff was excellent, the buffet breakfast was great and we had dinners in the restaurant which was reasonably priced. It is located some 300m from the central train station and the famous cathedral. Place was clean with beautiful gardens.
