We were surprised by how spacious the apartment was and it is very well equipped as well. The hosts were lovely and very easy to communicate with. The spaces were clean and the location is peaceful surrounded by meadows. Only a quick drive to the beach, ideal for watching the sunset.

I had an amazing time at Signe's home. Everything was perfect, it is like a piece of heaven. The place is in a very quiet area, 15 min walking to the Helsinge train station. I arrived from the Copenhagen airport by train here, very easy, 1,5 hrs. I totally recommend this place for the comfort, authenticity, and friendly and welcoming host. I felt like home. This is one of those hidden treasures! It was such a fantastic experience. Both the cabin, the surroundings and the hosts. Not to forget the breakfast served on the lovely porch! We loved every minute of out stay.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with my 9-year-old. The self-check-in with the coded lock was very convenient, no keys to carry around. Public transportation is excellent, with a train station just a 10-minute walk away. You can easily get to Copenhagen and other towns, we used it every day. There's also secure parking and a bike cage. The apartment would be perfect with the addition of a hairdryer and a washing machine for longer stays, but we had a fantastic time regardless 😊

    Buildings look like a big scout encampment. We, a senior couple, had a comfortable deluxe double room with kitchenette and private bathroom (although extremely small..!). Otherwise room was quite sufficient. We used it like a hotel room for a couple of days, so we cannot comment on the daily life in the resort village. Though it looked quite barren out there during our stay of 4 days in June, though it must be a busy vacation spot during the summer holidays.
