We set out to do a trip with friends to do a lot of gravel biking. For this purpose the cabin was excellent. A lot of nature with good paths and gravel roads to bike. The sauna was a welcoming post-ride activity. One of the bed rooms had a super nice vintage bike hanging on the wall which made us feel “we’re in the correct cabin”! The BBQ and the patio served us many nice evenings in joy and laughter.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with my 9-year-old. The self-check-in with the coded lock was very convenient, no keys to carry around. Public transportation is excellent, with a train station just a 10-minute walk away. You can easily get to Copenhagen and other towns, we used it every day. There's also secure parking and a bike cage. The apartment would be perfect with the addition of a hairdryer and a washing machine for longer stays, but we had a fantastic time regardless 😊

I had an amazing time at Signe's home. Everything was perfect, it is like a piece of heaven. The place is in a very quiet area, 15 min walking to the Helsinge train station. I arrived from the Copenhagen airport by train here, very easy, 1,5 hrs. I totally recommend this place for the comfort, authenticity, and friendly and welcoming host. I felt like home. Stunning surroundings with farm animals, including cats and a lovely well mannered dog around the house. If you love animals as our family does, this is definitely the place to go. You can pat bunnies and help feed hens, horses, pigs and bunnies. There are apples and berries on the surroundings free to taste. There are common areas for socialising and stuff to keep the kids occupied with both indoors and outdoors. A shop with decently priced food and drinks within walking distance. The apartment itself were of a good standard and in generally very clean. Note that your are asked to leave the apartment tidy on departure.
