Our hosts Isabelle and Christoph were extremely gracious and welcoming. Isabelle worked for years at Novotel, and her experience and skills are obvious. Their home is well situated for those who want to tour the Loire valley by car. We made day trips to a number of beautiful chateaux. The house is a pleasant 10-20 minute walk from the old town center of Amboise, set in a quiet neighborhood. Good wifi, clean facilities. Excellent continental breakfast freshly prepared each morning with ample bread, good coffee, cereal and fruit. Strongly recommended.

Clean modern property with spacious outdoor space, and privacy from main house as owners have now put up screens around patio which are not shown on the photos. Well equipped and very comfortable for a couple. Amboise is a lovely town with plenty to do and is a good base to explore local chateaus.

    The location was perfect. This has been the highlight of our first trip to Europe/UK. The old village with all its history was picture perfect. The cafes and pubs and friendly staff were wonderful especially at the shack and the hotel on the left corner of the main street as you enter.

    Individual vacation house not luxurious but very clean and fitted with all amenities for full comfort including teleworking. Keys can be collected via a lockbox at the main gate. Two independent washrooms. Superfast internet. Parking for one car in the yard. Responsiveness of the owners via messaging (haven't seen them in person). Silence.

    The owner and staff were very friendly, lovely people, very helpful. The location was an easy walk to the castle's and village. It was a lovely little place, and very different to stay in a cave. I loved the history of this town Leonardo de Vinci last home, he died there, and there were many kings and queens. A very interesting and gorgeous place to go. Highly recommend 👌

    We loved staying at Villa Mary! The location was perfect access to the train station and Amboise. Easy 10 min. walk to the city center over the bridge. Nice welcome from Mary when we arrived. The bedroom and bath were beautifully updated. The shared kitchen worked well for us with coffee, tea, and a refrigerator. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant at the end of the street with an incredible view of the Chateau d'Amboise which is lit up at night. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mary for a lovely stay!
